Find relevant, high authority sites that partly or completely cover your niche. In Google search, the first 10 results probably belong to high authority sites. In social search, content that has a social connection to you in some way is prioritized. A social connection could mean someone you are linked to via Facebook, Twitter, or any other major social network. By starting a blog — or taking an existing blog up a notch — you can increase your influence and establish stronger relationships with potential and current customers. Many e-commerce webmasters hold the view that when they list a lot of items, everything will translate to higher traffic, better SEO ranking, and sales. However, this is never the case.

Avoid unrelated directories and low quality guest-posts

Make sure that your web page URLs are SEO friendly, use mod re-write for Linux and Apahche hosting or use IIS redirect for Windows. Ideally make it so that the URLs describe your content. If you are linking your site with any spammy or bad site due to any reason, make it a no follow link, otherwise Google will not spare you. Only link to pages on other websites that you think your visitors would find helpful, valuable and/or interesting. Most people simply ignore this part as not important – please don’t do the same. Remember the following two sayings: “Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are” and “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” Keywords should never be used to try to trick or mislead human beings or Google spiders.. This means using keywords that do not exactly describe the contents of your page, repeating a keyword over and over in a way that in not natural (known as “keyword stuffing”) or using any other black hat SEO tactics (like keywords in a white font on a white background) are all off limits.

Optimizing your website for both Google and web users

An early part of the SEO brainstorming process is identifying the great places to get links, as well as the types of content you might want to develop to encourage linking from other quality websites. There are various aspects of technical mobile SEO that you should take into consideration to optimize your website for mobile search. The reason social is such a natural extension of search is that it adds both relevancy and authority. Think about this: According to Nielsen research, 92% of consumers worldwide trust recommendations from friends and family more than any form of advertising. This is up from 74% in 2007. When a search engine spider crawls your website it cannot rate its design nor measure the level of your customer support or the services you offer. It can only read and grade the content on your website and the way you have managed your backlinks. Hence, there is a huge emphasis on the quality of the content on your site and the backlink structure you have adopted and exactly why link building is so important.

Automatic anchor text

If the competition in your niche is high, you’ll have a hard time ranking on competitive head terms. If you have little competition, you’ll even be able to rank for head terms. It sounds so very easy! Google is acutely concerned about the user's experience. It has been for a long time and this is nothing new. Use your network to your advantage and have your friends LIKE your page on the different social network platforms and link back to your blogs. This helps to drive organic traffic back to your online business. Gaz Hall, a Freelance SEO Consultant, recently commented: "For people who track their site’s ranking on Google Analytics on a daily basis, it is not surprising to see the ranking move between positions one and six. Many will ask; why is my ranking fluctuating this much? What should I do? You do not have to do anything!"

Engage with influencers

SEO isn’t an exact science. Unfortunately, Google hasn’t given us a comprehensive list of ranking factors. Considering that Google has around 200 major ranking factors, and as many as 10,000 sub-signals, we can’t possibly know every single aspect of their algorithm. Even with a beautifully constructed website that offers ideal solutions to visitors' needs, your marketing will fall apart if nobody can find it in the first place. To rank highly with search engines, your content must be simple and straightforward to link to. Avoid shutting out traffic by requiring logins or restricting content sharing. Relaxing your grip just a little over how your content is redistributed can bring dividends in the long run. You may not have the resources to create locale sites for each country or language you want to target. In that case, add Google Translate to your site to ensure that your website visitors can see your content in their language (even if it’s not a perfect translation). Inbound links can come from your own website (linking from one page to another) or other web properties you control.
