If you want to start driving high-quality traffic to your website and find keywords with realistic search volumes, you need to seek out keywords with more search phrases, or “long-tail” keywords, over short ones. Search engine optimization, or SEO, is the process of improving your site's ranking in search results. Unfortunately the factors search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo use to rank sites are kept secret and change frequently. User-generated content (UGC) sites and communities are two of my favourite places to find untapped keywords. If you own a website that’s been around for a while, you should already be ranking in Google for a few hundred keywords. Knowing what they are is a perfect way to kick-start your keyword research.

What audience and interests lead to the highest conversion rates?

f you are familiar with Google’s algorithm, you are aware that it is predicated based off of backlinks. This is simply a hyperlink on an external website that links back to your website. If you want to simply attract users, focus more on SEO tactics that drive visitors to your site. If you want higher conversion rates once visitors get to your site, content marketing is more important. If your content is consistently very short and not original the Google algorithm is likely to consider the site low-quality. Standard SEO advice is to keep the site architecture as flat as possible, to minimize clicks from the home page to important content. Do not go off the deep end, though; too many links on a page are not good for search engines either.

Be consistent and follow a well-documented plan

Creating descriptive categories and filenames for the documents on your website can not only help you keep your site better organized, but it could also lead to better crawling of your documents by search engines. Also, it can create easier, "friendlier" URLs for those that want to link to your content. Google wants to see that you have a legitimate site with legitimate traffic. This means your content needs to be stellar. One of the great way to build relations with your website users is through Blog Commenting. Initially building relations might take time but once you start doing regularly, you will be noticed. Moreover, you will gradually start building relations with the bloggers or site administrators etc. The meta keywords tag allows you to provide additional text for search engines to index along with the rest of what you’ve written on your page. Meta keywords can emphasize a particular word or phrase in the main body of your text.

Are you seeing any pages from your site on the first page in Google

It is important to have backlinks from quality sites, and those backlinks should be contextual. Company blogs have been proven again and again to do wonders for businesses. Among other things, having a company blog will improve your SEO and allows you to become seen as an expert in your field. Don’t let ego fuel your obsession with keyword rankings. And remember that your personal search experience is not necessarily what your prospective customers see. According to SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "To keep search engines from ignoring your site, only use original content. Copying and pasting product descriptions from your merchant’s site may save you time, but it will also lower your site’s page ranking. To assure your page rank remains high, take the time to write your own content. If you don’t have time to write, hire a copywriter to create original content for you."

Don't use too many similar topic tags

A significant factor affecting loading times in general is a website’s complexity: the more comparison tables, product images, page-design features your site has, the more scripts, stylesheets, image and HTML files must be loaded in the background. Most people have heard of SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. This process generally involves making changes to a website to make it more visible to search engines and improving the site’s rank. As search engine bots crawl and index webpages, links serve as bridges that let them reach the billions of interconnected pages on the internet. From there, search engines are able to analyze and “understand” the contents of each page. In part because search has become such a core way in which we navigate the Web, the home page of a site may not be the entry point for a visitor. Any page can be the entry page, which makes it increasingly difficult for marketers to craft messages that welcome visitors and compel them through the conversion funnel.
